God’s fire clears every filthy thing in the path of the believer’s life. And so if a Christian doesn’t fan it to flame through consistent fellowship with God, bad things creep in subtly as engineered by the devil and eventually make him divert from God’s path. Prioritise your time with the Lord every single day.
You may ask whether people in authority need prayers. After all, don’t they have enough money and security? Yes, they do. Why? If you don’t pray for them, their minds will start conceiving evil thoughts. And when such thoughts get implemented, people will suffer, including you.
Dear friend, there is a high calling for you. But before you get there, you must adapt to godly change as the Spirit leads you – both in thoughts and physical exploits.
What we need to reign in life is in Christ, not in the world. And what are they? The abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. You cannot gain any of these if you’re an unbeliever.
Whenever you have the opportunity, contribute to a larger divine vision monetarily. Your seed will go ahead to impact others, and you’ll additionally get a heavenly reward for your generosity.
Can I encourage you, dear preacher? Don’t give up ministering because of criticisms, low patronage of your sermon or people leaving the church. No! The Lord who called you will strengthen you. Just stay faithful to God’s commission. He will lift you.
There are some requests you make to heaven that don’t get sorted out by a few seconds of prayer. No! For some, you must pray about the same thing for months and even years. One of them is prayer for your loved ones to be saved. That kind of prayer doesn’t usually yield results overnight but over time.
Whether you’re an ordained pastor or a servant in the Lord’s house, reaching out to others with the message of Christ is your responsibility. You have been given the message of reconciliation to live as an ambassador of Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:18-20).
Never give up on God, even in the midst of fierce persecution. He knew how much you would be persecuted since the day you accepted Jesus as Lord and personal saviour. He knows how to carry you forward in the faith till the end. Just don’t give up.
Prophecies don’t die, but without waging warfare on them, they’ll remain dormant. That is why your vision is worth writing down. Why? So that you can see it and run with it.
Pruning is painful. But it is God’s way of purging us from any filth in our walk with Him. Every believer who’s serious about God will definitely go through this kind of season in his life.
