Serve God with Your Eyes on Your Heavenly Inheritance

By choosing to love our enemies, we express Christ. It also allows us to break the cycle of hatred and create opportunities for reconciliation and healing. Loving our enemies doesn’t mean condoning their actions or overlooking injustice; instead, it’s about responding with love and compassion.
Every person has been given something by God and no matter how little, He expects you to exercise wisdom when using it.
Although the majority of Christians across the world do not suffer physical harm like the Christians of old, there are still sufferings associated with serving Christ. Is it God’s plan that we suffer and undergo such trials as Christians?
The work that God has sent us to do can only be done when it is day. If no one, including Jesus Himself, can work at night, then obviously we have to keep doing the work of God’s kingdom every day while we can.
Man can, therefore, not live depending on physical nourishment alone. Without praying, reading the word of God, and meeting with fellow Christians to discuss the word, a Christian cannot survive and will be physically grown but spiritually stunted. It is therefore necessary that like we eat food to physically grow, we gain spiritual nourishment through the consumption of God’s word every day.
