[30] “And Moses said to the children of Israel, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; [31] and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship, [32] to design artistic works, to work in gold and silver and bronze, [33] in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of artistic workmanship.” – Exodus 35:30-33 (NKJV)
Ministry is such a unique occupation to do. It’s based on God’s appointment and not man’s. And so because of that, you cannot do it if He doesn’t call and anoint you. One thing I love about this God is that He always supports what He anoints His called ones to do. And for that reason, an anointing for creativity is central to having a successful ministry.
In Exodus 35:30-33, Moses confirmed that God called Bezalel and anointed him to design artistic works that would be placed in the Lord’s temple they were building. See that! Even creative artwork in God’s house demanded God’s anointing to do it. Who said that a believing carpenter, electrician, metal worker, mason, etc., doesn’t demand anointing to function in that occupation? You see, some people have tagged the “anointed” as only pastors and church workers. But that isn’t true.
Do you want to stand out in anything you are doing as a believer – church-related or not? You need the anointing of the Holy Ghost on your mind and hands. In a world where people are using technological ways to copy people’s creativity, I believe there are still realms of wisdom in doing things that any computer program, including artificial intelligence, hasn’t captured. Go for the anointing.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Lord, give me more anointing to be consistent in my creativity in anything you call and lead me to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
