By[7] “Then his sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?” [8] “Yes, go,” she answered. So the girl went and got the baby’s mother. [9] Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him.” – Exodus 2:7-9 NIV
There’s no project that doesn’t require funding. Even for some of God’s prophecies to get fulfilled in our lives, we need money. Suppose God has promised you to fund a church-building project; you need money to work on that prophecy to see its full manifestation. But the good news is that God hasn’t told us to worry about how He will fund those things. And the beautiful thing about this is that He, God, can make evil people fund His prophecies.
Moses was born to deliver the Israelites from the Egyptians. But during his birth, they were killing Israeli newborns in Egypt as a way of oppressing them. Because of that, Moses’ mother had to hide the baby for three months until a time came when she could no longer do it.
To let the baby go, she placed the baby in a basket, wrapped him up and placed him on the river Nile. But the sister was watching the baby from afar. Later, Pharaoh’s daughter came to bathe in the river and saw the baby. And upon seeing the child, she was moved with compassion. The child’s aunt manoeuvred to convince the king’s daughter to take the child back to his mother to raise him with payment. See that! What the devil meant for harm, God used to fund His prophecy of raising a deliverer for the Israelites in Egypt under the king’s own roof – the palace.
I don’t know who is trying to crisscross your divine pathway. But I want to minister grace to you that all things will work together for your good. Fret not, and keep moving forward.
