A Righteous Reward That Shines Like the Dawn
God’s word says He will give you a righteous reward that shines like the dawn when you commit your ways to Him. I’m sure you want God’s rewards. Right? But what does it mean to commit your way to Him?

Where do you store your treasures? In heaven (the Spirit realm) or on earth? Choose the former because that is the solid foundation upon which you can get the latter without pressures from the world.
When electricity is present, many focus on using it. The moment it goes off, the impact is heavily felt. The kingdom of God functions in the same way. It is a matter of power, not mere words. But that power seems invisible and ineffective in a believer’s life until he understands it and learns how to use it effectively.
One of the most profound questions in ministry, primarily targeted to young and upcoming ministers, is, “Did God call you”? I am writing this article to help anybody battling with the surety of his calling to ministry, and I hope you’ll get your answers after reading it.
Ephesians 5:16 says that as a believer, you must make the most of every opportunity. Why? Because the days are evil. Hence, living wisely in this perverse generation as ambassadors of Christ is very paramount.
God is good and wants the best for each of His children. But He knows we live in an evil age where many people have identity crises. That is why He wants us to be strong. You must insist on who you are everywhere you go, lest others deceive you with empty words and try changing your godly convictions.
God is raising you not just because of you but also for the others connected to you. Don’t be selfish, thinking life is all about you and what you desire to get for yourself and probably your small family. No! Think big.
No matter how big the vision God has given you, it will take work, not just prayer, to reach that height of kingdom influence. Aside from all the prayers you sow into the work God has entrusted into your care, do not forget to labour effectively. Go for wisdom. Research things you don’t understand that are related to your calling, so that you’ll not be bankrupt of the intellectual property you need to soar higher in the realm of kingdom influence.
If God has called you, don’t think or say people will accept your ministry right on the go. No! It doesn’t work like that. You must labour to please the Lord by faithfully doing what He has called you to do, and then you’ll see progress in your calling.
What does it mean to arise, and what does it mean to shine? Am I living in the light? This and many more questions that might boggle your mind upon reading the topic will be discussed subsequently.
When I read Ephesians 3:8, I felt a great depth of humility in Paul’s statement. He didn’t say, “I was the least of all the saints.” No. He said, “…who am less than the least of all the saints …”. That means despite all the exploits he has wrought on the face of this Earth for the sake of Christ, he still counted himself as the least of the saints. What a statement of humility. Can you, as a preacher, say this about yourself?
Jesus said, as a believer, you can reap what you have not worked for, provided He sent you (see John 4:38). That means every person sent from God can reap from several areas of legitimate provision by the supernatural works of God. That is why a worldly person cannot understand anyone whom God has blessed with wealth.
