The Light of the Righteous Shines Brightly

Bible text: [9] “The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.” – Proverbs 13:9 (NIV)

What happens when you get to a dark place, especially roads where streetlights aren’t present? You can become afraid. Why? Because many evil schemes happen in dark places. That is why a lot of criminal activities occur in the middle of the night. Where there is light, many things are exposed.

Therefore, for the Bible to say that the light of the righteous shines brightly means that your witnessing of Jesus Christ wherever you go is evident unto all. But things become blurry and dim when believers shut up and subscribe to things that lead them to compromise on their faith.

If you are going to make the maximum impact on your generation, you must refuse to keep quiet about proclaiming the gospel. Secondly, you must be determined to live a life worthy of your calling no matter where you find yourself. Several people are out there with questions about the faith, waiting for you to reach out to them. Arise and shine, dear believer.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your grace in my life. Help me to witness You well everywhere I go. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
