International Women’s Day comes off each year, and it’s such a special day to celebrate women. On behalf of The Bible Daily Network, I want to honour all women who have laboured and continue to help make this world a better place. Here is an open letter to all women to celebrate this special day.
Don’t embrace a new season in your life with an old mindset. As you’ve stepped into the new year, take your time to adapt your mindset and lifestyle to the way God wants you to live. And, of course, don’t skip church.
Sometimes, many believers disobey God because they forget to write down the vision He gives them. And because they forget, they also fail to wage a good warfare by working in prayer and living by discipline. Don’t be like that. Godly vision will remain as ideas if you fail to take it up.
Are you a busy Christian so used to work that you don’t take time to celebrate your miracle? Don’t live like that. We live in a busy world. So, no matter what you do, work will never end. Jesus didn’t die for us when we were righteous but while we were still sinners. Can you imagine such depth of love? Who will die for you when you’re doing bad things? Nobody! But Jesus did that for you. Isn’t that awesome?
[14] “So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt,” — Matthew 2:14 NIV If I’m told to mention one submissive wife I highly revere in the New Testament, I’ll point out Mary. She never fought with her husband and never argued […]
Joseph’s submission unto God to take his little family to Egypt at night saved little Jesus from being killed. It’s essential to be prompt in obeying God, regardless of the circumstances around your life.
Through a normal greeting from Mary, Elizabeth felt the impact. How sensitive are your spiritual senses, even in ordinary conversations with the brethren?
Instead of Mary receiving the news and thinking about the “how” later, she probed further to understand God’s instruction by saying, “How will this be?…”. You have to do the same thing to get clarity about God’s promises.
