Soul-winning stands at the core of God’s heart. That is evident in the sacrifice of Jesus for humanity. The Bible tells us in Luke 15:10 that the heavens rejoice over even just one sinner who repents. That should be enough to tell us Christians that we are of essence to God. Many individuals live life feeling as though they are unnoticed, unimportant, or unappreciated, which is very disheartening. Dear friend, you are precious to God. That is why He has plans for you (see Jeremiah 29:11).
Jesus came to die for each
The value of a single soul to God cannot be overstated. Each person holds great worth in God’s eyes. Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost. He aims to restore everything lost to God’s order, including humanity’s relationship with God. The act of Jesus laying down His life alone should tell of the depth of God’s love and the priceless nature of each individual.
Your daily life should reflect this truth as a child of God. See yourself as precious before God. Reciprocate God’s love in you by following His teachings and spreading His message of love and salvation to others. Remember that no one can come to the Father except he believes in Christ Jesus (see John 14:6).
Don’t joke with evangelism
By embracing the kingdom agenda of soul-winning, you actively participate in God’s big plan to save lives. So, through your dedication to evangelism, you rescue individuals from the path to destruction and invite them into a community of believers where they can grow in faith and purpose.
Preaching and teaching God’s Word are essential for transforming people. As such, it is important to share God’s message, even if it’s not always what people want to hear, rather than altering it to please others. Do the work of an evangelist, servant of God. For evangelism is a vital aspect of ministry that should not be overlooked.
Putting value on saving souls
It is crucial to prioritise the salvation of people’s souls, especially in today’s world, where earthly distractions often overshadow the importance of each individual to Christ. Pursuing worldly possessions can sometimes lead to people neglecting their spiritual well-being.
Although material wealth can provide temporary happiness, connecting with God brings enduring joy and purpose. It is important to remember that God has a grand plan that requires your participation. Like the Good Shepherd who sought out the one lost sheep while leaving the 99, God calls upon us to return to Him and help lead others to experience His love and grace.
