Whoever Has Will Be Given More

[12] “Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” – Matthew 13:12 (NIV)

Have you ever heard the saying, “The busy is getting busier, and the lazy is getting lazier”? I tell you that it did not originate from the world. It is in the Word of God but indirectly stated by Jesus. He said in Matthew 13:12 that whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Think about it.

When you are faithful to what God has trusted you with, He will give you more things to handle. That is why one of the most assured ways of growth in ministry and business is how faithfully you shepherd the few souls you start with and the few customers you get from the beginning. I tell you, it pays to be faithful.

Want to flourish in abundance as a believer in God’s kingdom? Forget about doing many things at a time. Just start with what you have and be faithful to it. As you learn and grow, things will get better with you, and the Lord will bring expansion to your life. However, never trivialise the days of humble beginnings.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for all that You do for me. Help me to harness every spiritual gift you have blessed my life with for the profit of many. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
