Stay Grounded in the Gospel of Christ
People will confuse you if you don’t get to know God well. Spend time knowing God intimately. And don’t leave your spiritual growth to chance.

In your anger, watch what you say. It is better to keep quiet when angry, calm your raging emotions, and pray before responding to people.
The Bible urges believers to mortify the deeds of the flesh, emphasising that the flesh profits nothing (John 6:63) and that carnal-mindedness leads to death (Romans 8:6). By prioritizing spiritual growth through the Word, prayer, and worship, we Christians can cultivate their spirit, allowing it to bear good fruit and overcome the flesh’s temptations.
It is better to do what the Word of God says and be called names than to live a fake life to please people. God is the one that created you, not people. At the end of the day, you will render the account of your life to Him, not to any man.
God loved you so much that He sent Jesus to come and die for you. So, what makes you think you’re less valuable before Him? It doesn’t matter how bad people have treated you for years. Maybe your parents haven’t taken care of you since infancy. But today, let it be registered in your consciousness that God loves you.
If you keep sinning little by little and think a greater judgment from the Lord won’t be passed upon your life if you don’t repent, think twice about what you’re doing. Always remember that God cannot be mocked. So live a clean life and keep sowing in the Spirit, and it shall end with you.
Be determined not to get close to things and areas that will trigger any form of sin. If it’s sexual immorality, run from it. Don’t say that you have power over it, so you’re going to test it. No! God wants you to be so free and focused on your divine mandate that He doesn’t want you to add struggles with sin in your life.
Not everyone will like you for what you do, even if you always do the right thing. Sticking to saying the truth will attract enemies from diverse areas – government and even families. So enough of the people-pleasing, and do what God tells you to do.
Some Christians think paying taxes to the government is wrong. However, that thought is incorrect. Jesus encourages us to apply some practicality when it comes to the disbursement of money to tax agencies. Are you an entrepreneur? Don’t try to evade taxes. Pay it and have a free mind to focus on your business.
Keep the Word strongly in your mind. Because I tell you, the things of the world will come and test your resolve. And in those times, it is the Word stored in the reservoir of your heart that will save you.
Jesus said, “… if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” That means that as a leader, having a vision prevents you from living a careless life. Secondly, as a follower, who you follow affects the direction your life will take.
Every establishment that is not God-ordained will eventually fail. It could be a business scam, an idea that promotes evil, or activities that don’t honour God. All those things will come to nought with time, no matter how much money is dedicated to funding such works.
