Teach What Is Appropriate to Sound Doctrine

If you are a congregant, please hear this. Study your Bible, and pray consistently and fast even when the church doesn’t proclaim it. If you are a preacher, fellowship with God and teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine to the people God has entrusted you to shepherd. For it is time the children of God witness Christ well in this crooked generation.

All Things Are Pure to the Pure

Have you ever wondered why evil things continue to thrive in this generation? It’s because the devil – the chief enemy, never gets tired of giving those ideas to such people. If you don’t stand firm in the principles of God’s Word, the world will offer you distractive content, ideas and offers to sway you from living in purity. But every day, you have the choice to choose Jesus every day.

A Tree Is Known by Its Fruit

Jesus said if a tree is good, then its fruit is good. Consequently, if a tree is bad, its fruit will also be bad. Interpreting this in relation to people’s behaviour implies that a sinner remains a sinner because sin is inherent in him. But the saved are righteous because God confers His righteousness to those who accept Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour (see Romans 10:9).

It Is Not the Healthy Who Need a Doctor

Usually, people think those tagged as evil don’t need the message of salvation. But I tell you, they do. Evangelising to people, no matter their status in life is very important.

The Lay Ministry — Is It Scriptural to Practice?

Since Jesus gave these gifts to men, it’s clear that not everyone in Christ has the same gift. 1 Corinthians 7:7 tells us that each has his own gift in Christ. So, if the gifts are diverse, then each believer’s function in the body of Christ is different. That means that when it comes to ministry, some will represent Christ using their gifts in full-time ministry and others in the lay ministry.

No One Is Justified by the Law in the Sight of God

If anybody sets aside God’s gracious work of grace through Jesus and thinks he can obey all the laws of the Old Testament in his own strength, God will judge him based on that. And even if the Israelites couldn’t follow the laws, how much more that person? Accept that you need God and live humbly under His mighty hand.

You Are Abraham’s Child

In Christ, God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places (see Ephesians 1:3). But those blessings don’t turn into reality if you don’t first understand it and fellowship with the Spirit to show you how to bring them into reality. From today, study the blessings of Abraham and claim them over your life.
