When your mind is attuned to God, earthly things and possessions won’t be of much bother to your mind. It will help you plan your acquisition of those material possessions when you are able, but won’t make it your primary reason for toiling each day to get them.
Take God’s instructions seriously. They may come in a still, small voice, His Word, or in a unique way He speaks to you. Whatever way they come, take them up, document them, pray about them, and do what He has said. It is well with you.
You are more than a conqueror through Christ, whether you know it or not. But the more you remain conscious of this truth, the better you’ll view life and find comfort in God despite the many atrocities that come with it.
“Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 124:8). This divine storehouse is spiritual, infinite, and provides straightforward help to believers with no strings attached.
The Bible says the Holy Spirit will give life to your mortal body. His indwelling in your heart doesn’t mean He’s done with you. He is the one who has been mandated to revive anything you have run short of in your mortal body so that immortality will manifest in your life. That is why you must submit every dormant area of your life to God for Him to bring life to it.
The moment God saved you, He moved you wholly from the power of darkness to the kingdom of Christ. That was a permanent spiritual translation, and nothing can change that. But it is one thing to be in the Spirit and another to walk in accordance with the Spirit.
I want to ask you, who is Jesus to you personally? Is He the One your pastor has been preaching about, or the One you’ve encountered in your aloneness with Him? If you don’t know Jesus by revelation, it’s time to step up and pursue a deeper intimacy with Him.
In the previous times (before Jesus came to Earth), God spoke through the prophets. But in this New Testament era, His current language is Jesus.
Choices are more powerful than statistics. You can choose to live upright before God and pursue the vision He has given you, even if the masses are against you. Will it be easy? Of course not. You have to be strong so that the influence of the masses doesn’t get into drifting your attention from what God has told you to do.
Make up your mind that you’ll think about having everything in abundance so you can share with those in need and not think about yourself and your family alone. May the Lord help you to be more impactful with your work.
There are two primary paths in life, each requiring sacrifice. If you sacrifice your life for Jesus by becoming more committed to ministry, you’ll find more relevance in it, plus additional eternal rewards in heaven. But if you run away from ministry and follow after worldliness, you’ll get what you pursued but, ultimately, lose your life to keep them.
If God has blessed you with something, and you are trivialising it so much that you tend to mishandle it, it’s only a matter of time before you start losing it. Don’t treat anything God has given you so lightly.
