The Voice of the Lord Is Powerful

[4] “The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.” – Psalms 29:4 (NKJV)

What comes to mind when you see the word “the voice of the Lord”? Some people think it’s such a strange voice that shakes mountains, terrifies people, and creates a scary atmosphere. In the Old Testament, such instances were seen several times. But in the New Testament, it hasn’t happened like that. Even in Acts 13:2, where the Holy Spirit spoke audibly during a service, saying that Paul and Barnabas should be separated for His call, other believers were there but weren’t terrified. You see. Because of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, God has made Himself very accessible to humans. But you must take advantage of it.

It is written in Psalms 29:4 that the voice of the Lord is powerful and full of majesty. So, just because God is easily accessible in this dispensation doesn’t mean He’s lost a single bit of power. What God says, either through His Word, servants or any way He speaks to you, is still powerful. If you joke with it and don’t take it up in prayer and divine obedience, you’ll not see the manifestations of what He has said.

From today on, take God’s instructions seriously. They may come in a still, small voice, His Word, or in a unique way He speaks to you. Whatever way they come, take them up, document them, pray about them, and do what He has said. It is well with you.
