You Are More Than a Conqueror Through Christ

[37] “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” – Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

In Romans 8:35, Paul listed seven things that try to separate believers from the love of Christ: tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword. Then, in verses 38-39, he listed nine more things in addition to the initial seven, all of which cannot separate us from the love of God in Christ. But in Romans 8:37, the Bible says that although things bubble up in a question to make us doubt the love of Christ, we are more than conquerors. Can you say this to yourself?

You are more than a conqueror through Christ, whether you know it or not. But the more you remain conscious of this truth, the better you’ll view life and find comfort in God despite the many atrocities that come with it.

Dear friend, you may be a minister of the gospel, yet living in frustration due to unfulfilled dreams and a lack of adequate financial support for yourself, your family or your ministry. Perhaps it’s other problems that are too personal to share with a close friend. Sometimes, these issues cannot be immediately resolved. However, despite all that, let it be registered in your consciousness that you are more than a conqueror in Christ. Refuse to give up, and keep pressing on.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for all You do for me. Keep me moving in righteousness, even when times are hard. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
