As a believer, you are already in the Spirit (see Romans 8:9). You got translated into the Spirit the moment you were saved. But even though that’s your spiritual position, walking in that realm requires intentional followership of the Word and Spirit’s leading in your life.
There are benefits to following the way of the Lord, but not without sacrifice. Loving God can come with demands. Some of His instructions aren’t always pleasant because they can make you very uncomfortable. But it is always worth it. If I don’t know anything about God, at least I can boast of it that He is faithful. Hope in Him.
To see to it that God’s doctrine solidifies in your life, you must keep spending time studying the Bible. That is how it works. And by pursuing a deeper intimacy with Jesus, His Word becomes the central doctrine for your life.
Instead of focusing on your human efforts not to love the world, why don’t you pursue a deeper intimacy with Jesus so you can have access to the grace to live unto Him in a crooked world? For God is ever willing to help you to live in purity because He knows it’s an integral part of your life to fulfil your divine mandate.
Dear believer, love is the core of your spiritual makeup. So, if you don’t walk in your God-ordained identity, then you are signing up to live a hypocritical life, which shouldn’t be said of you.
The devil can give a man what’s in the world but will take ownership of his soul in the end. That is why I am convinced nobody can legitimately rise to the top without God’s help. Any means to reach that height of life without God will involve evil practices.
You have the right to test the spirits everywhere you go to worship God. In other words, there’s no problem doubting the authenticity of a servant of God until you confirm it by spiritual discernment and time.
Jesus has eternal life, so when He saves you and His Spirit comes to dwell in you (see Romans 8:9), you get access to this life.
Never let the devil talk you out of God’s love for you. Do not let Him lie to you that God has given up on you. He is Your Father. He won’t cast you out. He first loved you. He calls you by name.
In our families, siblings love one another. Right? Why? Because they are from the same parents. In the same way, you can’t say you love God but hate any of His children, no matter how the person behaves.
You train your spiritual eye to see by beholding God’s Word in all that you do. That is why consistent study of the scriptures, coupled with prayer and fasting, is essential in your life as a believer.
As a child of God, your primary source of doctrine for your life is the Word, not cultural beliefs, racial beliefs or even your own experiences. Again, it is the Word of God. So, you must submit to God’s Word every day and use it for your decisions.
