Dear one, be decent with how you use money. Pay the price to gain financial wisdom, especially from the Bible and Christian business people, and be conscious of your integrity before the Lord.

In your interactions with others, be cautious about what you say. Some people who try to engage you in conversation are not doing so because they genuinely want to hang out with you but because they want to get something against you to gossip about. Just be careful.

Following Jesus can complicate your life more than a worldly person. But the reward for following Him outweighs the disadvantages, and one of the primary benefits is the reward in heaven reserved for you based on your kingdom exploits.

Jesus laid down His life for you. That is why He is the good shepherd of your life. If He gave His life for you so that God would not judge you based on your sins, how much more would He give you the things you ask Him for by faith in prayer?

Dear one, what are you doing with your life? Knowing your destiny will determine the direction you take in life. Avoid living a haphazard life and following the trends because your life is too precious to God to misuse it.

Jesus said whoever follows Him will never walk in darkness. That means the spiritual illumination Jesus will supply to you for following Him will never make you end up stuck or confused in life. So, the moment you experience stagnancy in your life as a Christian, know that it is time to get back to God so that He can show you what to do.

Every Christian eats in the flesh just as any ordinary person does to food. But taking in the Word of God has the capacity to satisfy every craving in your soul, something nobody can get from this physical realm.

You cannot become a giant in the faith overnight or in a day. Real spiritual growth in Christ is a process just as a plant needs a lot of time to grow from a seedly to a mighty tree. How you start does not really matter, but your consistency in feeding on the Word matters a lot.

Life is in seasons. There are seasons of plenty and seasons where little resources are available. If you don’t grasp this understanding well, you’ll live thinking every day should be evergreen in your life, which you may rarely get.

Dear one, do not set foot on the path of the wicked. Ensure that you screen every suggestion or idea from people before buying into it. Some of them may be nice on paper but have wicked intentions on it.

As a judge, always wait to hear both sides of the story before pronouncing judgment. On the other side, as a person, do not accuse anyone for no reason. People are dealing with several issues that you know nothing about. So please make up your mind not to add up to their woes. Lead a quiet life and mind your business. May the Lord help you to have healthy relationships with others.

Proverbs 3:25 says you should have no fear of sudden disaster or the ruin that overtakes the wicked. Why? Verse 26 gives us the reason. That is, God will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. Isn’t that great news? You ought to have absolute confidence in God for your life and not be limited by what fear always suggests.

God wants you to honour Him with your wealth. But you may ask, what is the meaning of the word “honour” in the scripture? Well, from the Strong’s Concordance, it means a lot of things. Some are: promote, bring to, glorify. All these three point to blessing the work of the Lord with your finance so that things will go on well. It’s evident that a church that doesn’t have adequate finances usually doesn’t do much. No matter how much you earn, be intentional about supporting God’s work with some.

You are not God’s co-equal. He existed even before the beginning of time. So, if He chastises you, you should take it seriously.

Do not forget God’s teachings. Take your personal fellowship with God seriously. Pursue a deeper intimacy with God on a daily basis. By that continuous effort, you will be able to cement the Word in your spirit.

When the devil knows God is up to something great in your life, he works very hard to bombard your life with many bad things just to distract your focus. He knows that if he can get you distracted, he can make you forsake God’s providential way. So, knowing this very well, you have to employ a lot of wisdom and discretion in your walk with God and your relationship with others.

God knows that human beings are not given the ability to see the motives behind the actions of others. That is why He gives wisdom to those who ask Him, so that they can use it to discern wrong paths that may present themselves as a clean path. God loves you so much to see you go wayward. Ask Him for wisdom to live well.

In Proverbs 2:11, the Bible says that discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. In other words, paying attention to what you must consciously choose to see and not to see will prevent you from encountering bad things that have the potential of even dampening your spirit.
