David said he recognised that his help came from the Lord when he lifted up his eyes, not when he depended on his position as king or boasted about the loyal soldiers he had or even the gold he had access to in God’s temple. In the same way, you can boldly say the Lord is your helper only when you’ve learnt how to depend on Him to meet each of your needs.
Friend, you’re of more value to God than any other creature He created. He loves you so uniquely that He’s ever willing to provide what you need. But can you tune your mind to meditate on what He has said in His Word? Can you meditate on the vision God has given you for your life as you work towards it?
Jesus says that when we fast, we should maintain good composure during the period (see Matt. 6:16-18) Why? Because fasting is not about showing off to people. It’s about consecrating yourself to God.
Don’t be a fault-finding leader of your team. Understand that they are not as competent as you think. Neither do they always know your reason for making some decisions. Give everyone the space to voice out one’s ideas. It fosters great team communication, which is essential for teamwork productivity.
As much as God wants each one to flow in abundance in all things (see 2 Corinthians 9:8), so much so that none will be dependent on anybody (see 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12), don’t be enslaved to materialism. Let God discipline your life, and live with wisdom. People pleasing is not the reason for your existence.
You don’t have to stop everything you’re doing to keep your life moving on, like quitting your job. Just dedicate at least one hour each day to be with God in fellowship (prayer, Bible Study, listening to ministrations, reading Christian books, etc.), and be consistent with it. You’ll see how much God will transform your life in a short time.

Almost everybody learns to be gentle. But gentility can be expressed better by believers who walk in understanding. Why? Because such people know how to do it with sincere God-inspired love from the heart.
Enduring afflictions, either because of your faith or circumstances in life, is part and parcel of your life as a believer. But the most important thing to understand is that through it all, don’t lose hold of Jesus.
You must know that no issue can destabilise your life until you give your mind to it. In fact, God is so intentional about this, so much so that He admonished us in Philippians 4:6 not to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication. Think about that for a while.
God is the all-powerful God. There’s nothing too hard for Him. However, He needs your partnership to fulfil His divine mandate for your life well. So don’t be afraid. When you feel like you can’t do that thing God spoke to you about, go back in prayer and draw your strength from Him. He’s with You!
