God has irreversibly sealed the spiritual transaction where all of humanity’s sins got placed on Jesus to die and pay for it when He raised Him for our justification.
Everything earthly is temporary. So don’t put your trust in something another person has that will even expire or fade away some time to come. Trust God and be content.
By Jesus telling us to be of good cheer, He has assured us that His peace with us is enough to sustain us in any trouble we’ll ever face in this world.
