Choose forgiveness rather than resentment. Choose to give soft answers to angry people rather than proving yourself right at all times. As a child of God, you’re a peacemaker. You don’t always need to be right to ensure you live in peace with everybody.

No Christian came into Christ to design how he’ll live before God. God had already set the race of faith even before we came into Christ through salvation.

Self-control is indeed a fruit of the Spirit. But in 1 Thessalonians 4:4, Paul says each should learn how to control one’s own body. So that means how the Holy Spirit will help brother A to control his body is different from sister B. The question is: do you know your template?

As Christians, we must love everybody without hypocrisy. Hence, we shouldn’t love without hating all manner of wrongdoing. Hate evil, not evildoers.
The purpose of God’s discipline is to enable us Christians, share in His holiness, not to make us struggle.
You keep yourself in God’s love by building up yourself in your most holy faith, and praying in the Holy Spirit.
It is the responsibility of every servant God to keep his (or her) spiritual fervour. Why?—Because it can be brought low, usually through offences.
