The Bible doesn’t say “a wise wife builds her house…”. It says “a wise woman builds her house” (Proverbs 14:1). That means a woman doesn’t necessarily need to be someone’s wife to build her house. Again, she doesn’t need to possess large sums of money in her bank accounts to construct a physical house though she can do it with the strength of God. There’s one principal thing she needs. It’s called divine wisdom.
God is so creative that He has given each person a unique fingerprint since the time of Adam. That implies that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 127:14), and there’s no replica of you anywhere on the earth. Why don’t you believe this truth in order to put your mind to rest in the Lord?
In 1 Kings 22, Micaiah, a prophet of the secret place, saw that King Ahab would die if he went to war with Ramoth Gilead. But because his other prophets assured the king a win, he too decided to lie. He was scolded, and later told the truth. You don’t have to compromise just because your compatriots are doing same. Stand for the Truth of God’s Word.
We’re children of God. Hence, we’re children of the promise because Christ, Abraham’s seed, dwells in us (Galatians 3:29). Which means we have full access to partake in the blessings of Abraham. So whatever blessing God proclaimed on Abraham has been inherited by us.
You shall have what you say in prayer. But before that, you have to speak what you want to see. Is there anything in your life you don’t like? God has revealed that nuisance to you so that through you, He’ll bring redemption to it. Don’t watch things get spoilt in your life without doing anything about it.
Servant of God, you don’t handle the increase. God does (1 Corinthians 3:6). Do your part. Preach the message of Christ to all manner of people.
The more you pray and fast, the more you yield to the Lord. And the more you yield to the Lord, the more He, through the Holy Spirit, will use you to do great things in His kingdom.
Stop trivialising leaders and coveting their positions. You may not be the boss at your workplace. However, focus on serving and doing what’s godly but uncommon such as practising daily Bible reading, fasting, book reading and praying consistently. God will exalt you.
Don’t live in ignorance. Be hungry to know God more. Study the Bible yourself. Read right Christ-centred books yourself. Pray the Word yourself. Don’t be lazy and too dependent on other people to feed you spiritually. Invest in your personal spiritual growth.
Let’s stop hating people because they don’t speak good things about us. If your name as God’s child is gossiped about somewhere by evil people, rejoice because Jesus is being made known because of you. Love your enemies.
Lay aside all filthy thoughts the enemy sows in your mind when you have a grudge with someone, even in the same church or facing an issue in life. Forget about those things. Receive the implanted Word of God — that indirect teaching God is giving you as He helps you go through each life challenge. You’ll always come out better with renewed mindsets and experiential knowledge of the Lord.
The man who endures temptation will receive a crown of life ( zōē – eternal life) promised to be given by God to those who love Him. Choose to hold on firmly to the Word you’ve believed whenever you face challenges in life.
