Rest In The Lord

“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.” — Psalms 37:7 NKJV

In an information-saturated world, many people are self-pressured by the success of others. Statements like “I want to be like you” is becoming so common these days. Why? Because many people don’t know their divine mandate. So they want to do what others are doing. That’s not how it works in God’s kingdom.

God is so creative that He has given each person a unique fingerprint since the time of Adam. That implies that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 127:14), and there’s no replica of you anywhere on the earth. Why don’t you believe this truth in order to put your mind to rest in the Lord?

Don’t be bothered when an evil man is prospering financially or an unbeliever is doing well in his life. If you’re a believer, know that eternal life isn’t about material things (Luke 12:15). Instead, it’s about divine knowledge (John 17:3). So get to know God and your purpose. Fulfil it with the divine enablement you have and be unique. You’ll live a fulfilled life.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer

Oh God, I choose to rest by faith in Your unfailing Word. Thank You for creating me unique. Therefore, let me see my uniqueness come to bear as I fulfil my divine mandate in the name of Jesus. Amen!
