[6] “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; [7] and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV
How many times has the devil plagued your mind with anxiety and pain and cares about life? Sometimes, he reminds you of the wrong mistakes you made in your past. Other times, he tries to make you overly anxious about how inadequate your resources are when you “look at the things you’ve got to use the money to do.”
Child of God, I want to tell you that God didn’t bring you to this Earth to bear all these mental tortures every day. Even before Jesus left the face of the Earth, He gave us His peace (see John 14:27). That means God wants you to live a divinely orchestrated life of fulfilment with occurrences sponsored by grace, so much so that there’s enough room to live joyfully every day.
Nevertheless, we live in a world where evil abounds. So, the enemy is constantly working to devour the minds of Christians. Don’t give him a chance. Stand on the ground and be intentional about enjoying God’s peace every day. When he tries to bring bad things to distract the sanity of your mind, do what is written in Philippians 4:6 – pray and supplicate about everything with a thankful heart. I tell you that if you live practising this revelation from scripture, you’ll defeat the devil every day. The Lord of all grace be with you.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Lord, I bring to not, everything the enemy has brought to prevent my mind from enjoying your peace. In the name of Jesus, I walk in joy. Amen!
