“Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.” — Micah 7:8 NKJV
Problems are inevitable to escape in life. The Bible says in James 1:2 that,
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
That means nobody is shielded from falling into trials. Some problems will come due to mismanagement or lack of adequate knowledge to do something well. But for some, you’ll surely fall into them no matter who you are — the rich, poor, highly educated, etc.
How you run into a problem isn’t as important as how you respond to it. If you let your mind worry about it, you’ll waste precious time thinking about the effect of your ordeal, and you cannot bring the lost time back. But if you declare God’s Word over it and learn from your mistakes, you shall rise stronger.
Your enemies don’t like it when God takes you higher in life. So they’ll be among the people who feel happy when they hear you’ve run into a problem.
The prophet Micah declared that even if his enemy rejoices over him, he shall rise, not just ordinary, but stronger and better because the Lord is on his side. What about you?
Where do you turn to when you face troubles in life? Do you turn to God in prayer, call the brethren in Christ for knowledge and solution, or call worldly people to receive insults and unhealthy counsel?
Be wise, child of God. God didn’t save you to be on the losing side. He has made you more than a conqueror in all things because of His love. Obtain knowledge, increase in learning, and you shall be part of those who rise stronger than what brought them down moments ago.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, empower me to seek counsel from You and the right people when I face problems. Give me the grace to always focus ahead and not remain stuck by the issues of life. Amen!
