When you get saved, you must get rid of the old yeast – comprising sinful thoughts and delicacies and put on the new man, which is renewed by Christ. You must understand and live in the consciousness that you are a new creature in Christ even though you can’t see any physical evidence of it.
Preach the gospel in power. Sing the gospel in power. Contact the power to do the work of the ministry by spending adequate time in the Lord’s presence consistently. Your life won’t be the same.
There are several scriptures that give out the characteristics of God’s kingdom. But in Romans 14:17, Paul wrote three of them together. He says God’s kingdom is not meat and drink. But what? Righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
To prevent running into trouble, obey the laws of your country and focus on living purposefully to please God. That way, you can enjoy peace in your own life. However, never forget to pray for those in authority – that God will turn their hearts to do what is right and not what their selfish cravings long for.
Always pay premium attention to living in peace. Resort to prayer when circumstances try to bully your mind. God will respond to your case.
God’s fire clears every filthy thing in the path of the believer’s life. And so if a Christian doesn’t fan it to flame through consistent fellowship with God, bad things creep in subtly as engineered by the devil and eventually make him divert from God’s path. Prioritise your time with the Lord every single day.
Commit to loving the brethren despite what some of them do against you. And know that you came to Christ by faith. So don’t let that faith stand in how people treat you.
Your body has been purchased by God using Jesus’ blood. So the moment you get saved, you don’t own it. Instead, you are a steward of it, and it remains God’s property.
God’s plan for you is unique, so living like the masses won’t help you. Devote yourself to prayer and keep following the steps of Jesus.
Many things people say have been complimented by others as true due to votes and comments. But only Jesus is the truth.
When Jesus uses ‘verily verily,’ then what He is about to say is of great importance and is a significant doctrine in the faith.
Living an exemplary life for others to admire and desire to be like is very honourable, and there are not many people like that in this generation.
