God Deeply Cares About You

If restoring your relationship with God costs the life of Jesus, then God deeply cares about you.
As a follower of Christ, you must learn the art of handling criticism. No matter what you do, they’ll come. People will craft stories about you merely to defame your name and the Jesus you profess. But the good news is that those people didn’t call you; God did.
Preach what God teaches you, not what you think. Your preaching will be devoid of any mix of heresy when you refuse to mix it with your own philosophies and ideologies. Jesus is enough. Preach Him!
Can I encourage you, dear preacher? Don’t give up ministering because of criticisms, low patronage of your sermon or people leaving the church. No! The Lord who called you will strengthen you. Just stay faithful to God’s commission. He will lift you.
Whether you’re an ordained pastor or a servant in the Lord’s house, reaching out to others with the message of Christ is your responsibility. You have been given the message of reconciliation to live as an ambassador of Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:18-20).
The devil is very cunning and deceptive. He can masquerade evil and present it as good in your mind. And as a believer, you must be highly discerning to know the thoughts which are of the devil and of God’s.
With all seriousness, guard your mind from deception. When the devil tries to paint an enticing picture of sin in your life, look at God’s Word and resist him. Life in Christ is not a joke. So don’t trade yours for anything ungodly.
God’s Word has stood the test of time. It hasn’t changed or lost a single bit of power to transform lives. Don’t downplay its role in your life. No! Live with it in your consciousness. That will give you security in life.
You must labour to have a healthy spiritual eye. But how? By investing in knowing God intimately every single day. Prioritise prayer, Word study, fasting and going to church regularly. Doing these consistently will illuminate your spirit with Christ, and your life will follow the direction of God’s purposes.
If Jesus wants you to get to a height in your faith journey in Him where you can fast without external leadership, then He desires you to mature spiritually.
Just as the body wants to get fed every day, so does your spirit. Anybody who feeds his human body and ignores his soul (specifically, the mind) and spirit will have an imbalanced life. That is why there are wealthy people who don’t know anything about Jesus.
The primary purpose of prayer isn’t to ask God for things; it is to fellowship with Him. However, asking God is part of the reason why He created prayer. So, as a child of God, if you go to Him and ask for something you need, you are not wrong.
