To make every effort to live in peace with everyone is not just a biblical commandment; it is a way of bringing people together. Peace is, therefore, not merely the absence of conflict but an active choice you must make daily. It requires conscious effort, grace, and a willingness to forgive others without recording wrongs.
As a man, pursue after Jesus, be at rest, and He will help you get a prudent wife who’ll be a massive plus to your life. However, as a woman, don’t be desperate to get into a relationship. Wait on God as He brings godly men across your path.
Dear friend, never boast about yourself before God. Never say you were able to do some things with your own strength, especially as a Christian. Otherwise, you’ll start sharing God’s glory with yourself, and He will bring what you think you’ve built to nought.
Wealth can make people proud, especially if such a person is an unbeliever. Do you know why? It’s because when there is enough money in a person’s life, especially a man, he speaks with a lot of ego. In fact, many wealthy people place their confidence in life in what they have instead of God, even without realising it.
There are strange things in this world. Too many people use dubious means to get money and take advantage of people. So, you must live wisely in this perverse generation. It is not everyone you are supposed to believe when he speaks to you. Even in church, there are people with diverse attitudes who are not even born again but have mixed up with the crowd.
To get rid of bitterness, you must expunge holding on to offences in your heart. That means you ought to forgive people as quickly as possible whenever they offend you. If you don’t do it, you’ll give the devil the chance to make you meditate on your pain instead of God’s forgiveness.
This world is such a strange world. Many people struggle to make ends meet. But are we believers supposed to be struggling? No! Aside from God meeting our needs in supernatural ways, He commands us, through His Word, that we shouldn’t steal but work. So, dear Christian, God doesn’t want you to steal. He knows that your full potential will be brought to bear through work.
In your anger, watch what you say. It is better to keep quiet when angry, calm your raging emotions, and pray before responding to people.
The Bible urges believers to mortify the deeds of the flesh, emphasising that the flesh profits nothing (John 6:63) and that carnal-mindedness leads to death (Romans 8:6). By prioritizing spiritual growth through the Word, prayer, and worship, we Christians can cultivate their spirit, allowing it to bear good fruit and overcome the flesh’s temptations.
It is better to do what the Word of God says and be called names than to live a fake life to please people. God is the one that created you, not people. At the end of the day, you will render the account of your life to Him, not to any man.
Everything you live for in Christ must be rooted in faith, which involves perceiving everything from an accurate understanding of the Word. Therefore, to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, you need to know the Word.
