Purge Your Life

When Jesus said, “And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell…” (Mark 9:45), He was speaking of purging lives of worldly distractions that keep them from hearing and following Him, not doing surgery to take out your legs.

Man Shall Not Live by Bread Alone

Man cannot live depending on physical nourishment alone. Without praying, reading the word of God, and meeting with fellow Christians to discuss the word, a Christian cannot survive and will be physically grown but spiritually stunted. It is therefore necessary that like we eat food to physically grow, we gain spiritual nourishment through the consumption of God’s word every day.

Spend Quality Time with The Father

Sometimes, you must spend quality time with the Father alone, not just in a congregation. Other times, your family, particularly the nuclear one, ought to join you in lifting the Father high. But in any way, never underestimate how powerful it is to be in God’s presence alone.

Never Forget Where God Took You from

We were once foolish, disobedient, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But God showed us mercy and saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Never forget where God took you from and raised you to this level in your knowledge of Him.
