If God has given you the privilege to be faithful in coming to Him in prayer and interceding for others, then there is work to do on your part to keep the fire on your altar burning. Don’t think you’ll draw near to God without putting in much effort.
Every Christian eats in the flesh just as any ordinary person does to food. But taking in the Word of God has the capacity to satisfy every craving in your soul, something nobody can get from this physical realm.

In Proverbs 2:11, the Bible says that discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. In other words, paying attention to what you must consciously choose to see and not to see will prevent you from encountering bad things that have the potential of even dampening your spirit.
You have the power to control how technology influences your life. Let’s make the choice today to use our devices, social media, and online spaces not just for entertainment, but for spiritual growth, encouragement, and a deeper relationship with God. Amidst the distractions, you can still find peace, purpose, and direction in Christ.
You ought to be prudent enough to give thought to your steps before you sign up and follow the suggestions from others. There could be a wicked end to that idea that seems promising before your eyes today. Don’t be a person who gets up and just does things without thinking about them, especially their future implications.
Will you be a difference maker in this generation even though your peers and some fellow believers may not follow your path? Come on, rise and be the change. Never turn back from following Christ to go to the world.
Since shepherding is very laborious, you need endurance to keep doing it, especially as a full-time minister of God. That is why it is costly to abandon your personal time with the Lord with the excuse that you are too busy doing the work of the ministry. If you are doing that, return to God – your first love.
Romans 12:2 says that as God’s child, don’t be conformed to this (evil) world but be transformed by renewing your mind so that you can prove God’s good, acceptable and perfect will. That means you can discern God’s will well by renewing your mind with God’s Word.
Your heart is where Jesus or the devil resides. It is a spiritual home. For this reason, if you do not allow Jesus into your heart, the devil will allow himself into your heart. Your heart cannot be empty, and your heart cannot bear two masters. That is the reason you must pay attention to the well-being of your innermost being.
