God Will Help You Tread on the Heights

[19] “The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.” – Habakkuk 3:19 (NIV)

How often have you woken up feeling tired or stressed enough to even go to work, yet there are project deadlines to meet that can propel your career success? Yes, many global influencers of Christ work so much behind the scenes to produce what people see. But most of their followers don’t even know the stress they go through.

Habakkuk was a prophet noted for this. In Habakkuk 3:19, he said that the sovereign Lord is his strength. Because of that, He made his feet like those of a deer. The deer is one of the fastest animals in the animal kingdom. So, Habakkuk was prophesying that with God as his strength, things in his life would accelerate faster for him. Today, that prayer is an encouragement for you.

God will help you tread on the heights. Suppose He has given you big dreams to accomplish, and you have the strategy to get there; don’t think He will leave you on the way. As long as you walk in obedience to Him, He will help you to become successful in that vision. There will be both good and bad times. But in all those seasons, don’t give up.
