God Will Make Your Feet Like the Deer’s Feet

[19] “The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.” – Habakkuk 3:19 (NKJV)

In this highly economic world, one of the primary reasons why people go out to work each day is to get money, food, and other necessities to improve their lives. Is that a bad thing? Of course not. But there are some people who are also bent on serving the Lord, and He keeps blessing them with these things others toil hard for, all without stress. What’s the difference? It is called the blessing of the Lord. Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV) says,

“The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.”

So, it is actually possible to walk in an abundance of provision without toiling hard for each penny. And one of the ways God does that is to give you the grace for speed. That was what the prophet Habakkuk sang in Habakkuk 3:19. He said God is his strength and will make his feet like the deer’s. Even more, He (God) will make him (Habakkuk) walk on his high hills. There are revelations to catch here.

  1. God will make your feet like the deer’s feet: That means God will help you increase your pace in life. What takes others years to do will be done in months when God steps in with His supernatural speed and divine provision.
  2. God will make you walk on your high hills: That means you ought to have high aspirations in life that align with your divine purpose. Because God is your strength and speed, He will help you to get there. Your dreams are not detours before God. He will use them to make your life fly high in divine impact. Don’t lose hope in Him.

You are a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your kindness and mercies. Help me to gain ascendancy in my life and my relationship with You. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
