You may have complained about how large your vision as a purpose-driven believer is. But I want you to cast your mind back to what God used to make the woman: a simple rib. That means that what God has given you to do big things is enough. If only you would see the largeness of production hidden in the small resources in your hands, you’ll do much.
Asking God for help isn’t a sin. It doesn’t dishonour the Holy Spirit in us. In fact, it enhances and expands God’s work. Jesus, although He was fully God and fully man, did not do ministry alone. He chose twelve apostles to help Him. How much more we?
You may not have a land as a child of God, but you have provisions. You have a phone, shoes, team members to work with, etc. Think of the things in your room and workplace. They are goods. Till them. In other words, pray for God to empower you and give you ideas on ways to use what He has provided you to yield maximum results.
Discomfort doesn’t mean God is telling you to move away. Discern what He’s doing in each season in your life, and don’t let circumstances determine your countenance.
Beloved, God’s plan for your life is far better than anything you’ve seen in a well-to-do unbeliever’s life. That person may have money, cars and other life possessions you don’t have. But what about his sufferings like lack of purpose, anxiety and sickness, which you can’t see? Life isn’t about things!
God’s code for basic life necessities provision is “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.”
“God so loved the world” in scripture doesn’t mean His love for this world seasonal, but it’s complete, at its highest peak, and also everlasting.
Everything earthly is temporary. So don’t put your trust in something another person has that will even expire or fade away some time to come. Trust God and be content.
When you fall into the trap of comparison, remember how unique, wonderful and fearful (reverential) God has made you.
Don’t allow your current level of spiritual understanding to make you think that God can do as much as you can imagine. He can do more.
