Why Worry About What You Will Wear?
Why worry about what you’ll wear if God has promised to supply all your needs? Wear what you have and trust God to provide what you’ll need in the near future.

The Preacher says in Proverbs 14:34a that righteousness exalts a nation. And when I check the meaning of the word “exalt,” it means upliftment. That means it takes right living before God by individuals in a nation for God to lift that nation to glory.
Anxiety makes you doubt God’s provisions for your life, especially when you aren’t on any payroll. But God’s ways are past finding out. If He can direct what ways ravens should fly in order to get food to eat, then He knows how to provide for you in ways that aren’t in the traditional thinking of man’s ways of getting needs met.
Sometimes, when God inspires you to help others, you may not have all the resources you need to do that, both financial and human resource-wise. However, once that desire is there, God doesn’t care about multiplying the little you have for it to become plenty for people to enjoy.
How many people walk around every day wanting to get what their fellow friends have? They see a fellow having a car and start envying the person. Really? Where is that contentment spirit that prevented people from following unreasonable ideas?
Solomon said that he who sleeps at the time he’s supposed to use his hands to work will have poverty coming upon him like a prowler (a person who moves stealthily about or loiters near a place with a view of committing a crime). In addition to that, such a person’s needs will increase. So, I counsel you, dear reader, that don’t entertain sleep when it is time to work.
Child of God, there is a promise from God in Psalm 37:29 that the righteous shall inherit the land and dwell in it forever. It doesn’t say the righteous “may” inherit the land but “shall.” That means it is definitely going to happen. But there is a responsibility on your end as a believer. God is a Spirit, so whatever He sets His heart to do on this Earth will require men to bring it to physical manifestation. Take your place, and don’t settle for less.
Can I tell you something? God will always provide for the righteous. And that provision is going to be large enough that the descendants will benefit from it.
Don’t lust after material gains. I speak this primarily to the ministers of the gospel. If God has said He will bless you, it is not your job to figure out how He will do it. Just remain focused as You do His work. And when He finds your heart faithful, He can send even unbelievers to provide massively to make His work well-funded. Trust in Him!
The Bible says in Romans 16:25 that God is able to establish you. In other words, He can give you everything you need to enjoy life to the fullest, having no need, as you focus on fulfilling His vision for your life. And I’m sure that there are several believers, maybe not many, who are living in this realm of life. That can be your case too, dear child of God.
The goal is not to show others that “Yeah, you are rich.” Instead, the goal is to see every child of God soar higher in the fulfilment of divine purpose so that Christ will fill the whole universe. That cannot be done entirely if some believers are lagging behind.
God is a Spirit (see John 4:24), meaning He doesn’t give material possessions when He blesses. No! He gives you that dimension of the Holy Spirit’s power that makes resources gravitate towards your direction when you step out. So, if you lack something in life, your problem may not be money but a lack of divine revelation.
