God Has Good Things Stored Up for You

[19] “How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” – Psalms 31:19 (NIV)

Do you know that God has good things stored up for you if you revere Him? Yes, you may think it’s not true because of your current situation. But I tell you, this is what scripture says about you. God isn’t a magician. He doesn’t lavish all His abundant provisions on a person within a twinkle of an eye. He releases them little by little, and each one has no sorrow attached to it.

David experienced this. That is why he said in Psalm 31:19, “How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” This is not the only scripture he used to acknowledge God’s blessing in his life. There are a lot more. But why did he acknowledge it several times? He saw God continue to open doors despite all his riches.

You may not see the Lord supply significant provisions in your life now. But don’t lose hope in Him. Keep following His ways and worry less about your life. He is with you and will never leave nor forsake you. In the midst of all the turmoil, stay faithful to His call. He will not put you to shame.
