[9] “Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.” – Psalms 33:8 (NKJV)
God, the creator of the universe, is so terrible and fearful to behold. It is written in Exodus 33:8 that no man can see God and live. That means His presence is so terrifying that the highest shock absorber body element cannot withstand it. But today, all those fears of drawing near to God have been brought down to the accessibility of men because of Jesus.
In Psalms 33:8, David said, “Let all the earth fear the Lord…” out of reverence. That is a command, right? So, it means that some people and things on this Earth have no reverence for God. It’s even worse in this modern age, where evil is prevalent (see 1 John 5:19), and people are living grossly perverse lives.
Jesus is coming again and demands that all people repent (see Acts 17:30). Do you revere God? If not, it’s time to repent. If yes, preach the gospel to others so they can be saved. Snatch some from the path leading to hell. Don’t watch people intentionally die in sin while God is waiting to give them a glorious life, starting here on earth and in heaven. Be serious about spreading the net of kingdom influence.
You are a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, help me keep reaching out to others about the gospel so they will encounter Your salvation power. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
