“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” — Romans 8:31 - 32 NKJV
Many people have unmet needs in this world. Some are due to parental irresponsibility, lack of jobs or godly leadership in their lives. But I want to tell you today that God isn’t like that. He’s not only the lover of your soul but a responsible Father. He has a record of ever-increasing success in provision. That’s what Paul was explaining in Romans 8:31-32.
Paul said God is for us, and as far as this truth holds, anyone against us cannot win over our lives. Simply put, if everyone in this world hates you or what God has called you to do because God is on your side, you’ll never fail. Why? Because He’ll supply the provision that you need to fulfil that vision.
Now get this truth. God created you on purpose. He knows why He brought you into this world. And for that purpose to manifest, you first need to be saved by Jesus; so that you will get access to Him (since Jesus is the only way to the Father – John 14:6). Now, if He gave Jesus to die for you, how much more won’t He freely give you all things?
Sometimes, we’re too conscious of what we don’t have instead of thanking God for what we have now. God will freely give you all things, not only because He has abundant resources but because He’s faithful and committed to you, whether people like you or not. If He gave you a life assignment to do, it’s His responsibility to provide the resources you’ll need to fulfil it, or else He would be a bad master. Even in the world, nobody hires you to do something without giving you compensation. How much more God. Trust Him to provide your needs today.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray to reaffirm my trust in You. When I feel down and discouraged, help me to recognise Your mighty hand upon my life. Lead and guide me in the way everlasting. Amen!
