Pay Back Good for Evil

For us Christians, God doesn’t want us to carry both good and evil thoughts in our minds. That is why He wants to build a world where believers will need nothing from the world to go about life’s activities. But since we live in an evil age (see Galatians 1:4) where some people we interact with daily are unbelievers, He doesn’t want us to be ignorant of their evil ways.

Think Well of Your Enemies

You might have strong reasons to speak harsh words against those who attack the anointing upon your life to do God’s work in peace. But Assume the place of love and forgive them. Think well of your enemies. Don’t wish them to fall, although they deserve it.

Let Someone Else Praise You

Let another man praise you for what you have or do, and not yourself. Be so focused on fulfilling your divine mandate that you’ll care less about your possessions. And the faithful God will never cease unleashing you to higher realms of glory.

Tell of the Lord’s Goodness

Sometimes, you’ll not get a specific father in Christ to build you up, but through one notable encounter and consistent fellowship with the Lord, you’ll become a firebrand minister. For every child of God like that, I pray for the grace to start and finish strong in the Lord’s work.

Live Humbly Despite Your High Level of Influence

Look at the life of Jesus! He was (and is still king) of the entire universe. But when people insulted Him, He didn’t revile back (1 Peter 2:23). He was so quiet before Pilate that Pilate himself marvelled (see Mark 15:3-4). Besides knowing that He ought to die and save all humanity, Jesus knew that boasting before Pilate was not wise. Learn from this!
