[10] “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
When you hire someone to do something for you, he’ll charge you not just for the materials he’ll need for the work but also for his workmanship. That workmanship is the degree of skill with which he’ll do what you’re telling him to do for you.
Now, if the Bible says you are God’s workmanship, guess who are you? You’re God’s fearfully and wonderfully made creature created in Christ Jesus for good works. That means good works is a natural flow in your life as a believer. And if such a thing is not happening, then there’s something wrong with you.
As you read today’s devotional, I want you to evaluate your life today. Is there any area of your life lacking the manifestation of God’s ways? Confront it in prayer. Your destiny is already fixed in Christ. And you’re supposed to fulfil it with the help of the Spirit of God before you die.
So, gird up your loins, work and walk in your identity. Refuse to get used to things you were not ordained to keep in your life. May God help you to accomplish every purpose for which He brought you here on Earth. Be strengthened.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, lead and guide me in the way everlasting. I pray that Lord, help me to flow to my highest potential anywhere I go on as I live on purpose. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
