Man cannot live depending on physical nourishment alone. Without praying, reading the word of God, and meeting with fellow Christians to discuss the word, a Christian cannot survive and will be physically grown but spiritually stunted. It is therefore necessary that like we eat food to physically grow, we gain spiritual nourishment through the consumption of God’s word every day.
Many more people are coming up with evil ways to indulge people inside. And as believers, what should we do? Refute these demonic ways, right? But how’s that possible if we don’t experience unified growth, both individually and corporately, as believers in Christ?
Dear believer, you’re not of the world. If unbelievers accept divorce, stick to God’s principle of permanent marriage covenant.
According to God’s design, every man ought to take over the whole earth in one’s individual way as ordained in eternity for him to do. That is why each person’s divine mandate on this Earth is unique.
If God says David’s generation, who are now believers in Christ, may possess the remnant of Edom, it means that unbelievers have taken authority over in every realm of life and will eventually be overtaken by believers.
Jesus didn’t die for us when we were righteous but while we were still sinners. Can you imagine such depth of love? Who will die for you when you’re doing bad things? Nobody! But Jesus did that for you. Isn’t that awesome?
Who do you say Jesus is? Many people have different views of His personality. But who is He to You?
The world thought they had rejected Jesus. Today, He’s the One in whom the solution to all the problems in this world is. He’s the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge (see Colossians 2:3).
How can anyone do God’s will if He (God) doesn’t have authority over his life? Impossible, right? Therefore, the real brethren of Jesus are those who are born again and therefore, consciously recognise His Lordship over their lives.
No matter how busy you are in life, never allow the devil to steal God’s Word in your heart. How can you do that? It’s simple. Listen to it with rapt attention every time you’re in church or studying it personally.
When you go to church, forget about what’s happening at home. Be intentional about maintaining an undisturbed composure when listening to the Word. Because of a truth, for the spirit of agreement to work amongst those who’ve gathered to worship Jesus, concentration on what God is doing is very necessary.
Maybe you’ve been believing God for something unique for a long time and have been praying alone. Could it be you just need one more friend in Christ to team up with you to pray?
