Your job is to pray. God’s duty is to grant you your prayer requests. You don’t have to live worrying about how God will meet your needs or fulfil what He has said concerning your life.
You are more valuable than birds. That means God is able to meet your needs far beyond what you’ll just eat to survive. Stop worrying. Stop wailing over what you don’t have. While it’s good to have the future in view, love enjoying today as the day the Lord has made.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:42 that we are not supposed to hold back from giving to those who ask us for help. Secondly, we should also lend to those who want to borrow from us. That means lending is not evil in Christ, as well as borrowing. But with the rise of mistrust, the question is, should believers keep lending to untrustworthy people? That’s a real question to consider.
Do not make money your god. Don’t pour your whole soul into your work just because of money. Life is far more than that. God is your definition of life, not changing currency value.
As a believer, do you check yourself before checking others? How many flaws have you seen in your life you need to work on?
The world says don’t love your enemy because when they get you, they’ll harm you. But Jesus says love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.
Proverbs 25:15 says that enough patience can persuade a ruler, and a gentle tongue can break a bone. That means no matter how high a person’s position is in life, you only need patience and gentle words to keep persisting for the person to grant you the favour you desire him to do.
Dear friend, know that what God has said about your life cannot be searched out by anybody in this world. That fetish priest cannot find it out. The voodoo man can’t. It is only known by God.
God likes to conceal matters. But He reveals those secrets to those who fear Him (see Psalm 25:9). However, for you to fear God, you must be close to Him. So, in essence, those who are close to God are those who get to know the secrets of God. And that explains why strong Christians who love to have fellowship with God possess much divine wisdom.
There is no smoke without fire. That implies there is a reason behind any happening in life. Things don’t just happen. So instead of joining others to say bad things about others, wait for patience to calm quarrels.
If you want to earn the trust of people you work for or in a specific relationship with, don’t make lying your hallmark. Don’t ever lie about something you did for the sake of escaping punishment. Truth sets free; lies soil your integrity.
We must be careful about the advice we give others when they come to us for help. You might be breaching God’s rule when you tell people, especially couples, to separate. There is a solution to every problem. So make up your mind never to serve as a reference point to make someone disobey God’s principles.
