God Cannot Be Mocked

[7] “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” – Galatians 6:7 (NIV)

When I was a child, I used to mock my friends in school when they did something wrong, especially in class when they got questions asked by teachers wrong. And I used to get into trouble whenever I did it. But I did it anyway. Years later, I read Galatians 6:7 and realised that even though I can mock others, I cannot do that to God.

God cannot be mocked. You can’t make fun of God and think you will not face the consequences. For example, you can’t say, oh, let me sin deliberately, and think you’ll not reap the result of shame and judgment. If you think it’s a lie, ask the believers whom God convict strongly when they watch porn. It’s just disgusting and shameful to bear.

God’s principles, structures and systems work every time. There are no free zones in them for anybody to play with any of them. If you are not saved, you’ll go to hell when you die physically. There are no considerations or exceptions for that.

You will always reap what you sow, but not how you sow it. Your harvest will be greater than your seed, whether good or evil. A farmer never harvests crops in the same amount he sowed. The harvest is always bigger than the seed. So if you keep sinning little by little and think a greater judgment from the Lord won’t be passed upon your life if you don’t repent, think twice about what you’re doing. Always remember that God cannot be mocked. So live a clean life and keep sowing in the Spirit, and it shall end with you.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, help me cultivate a deeper reverence for You as I live to fulfil Your will daily. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
