Nothing Evil Proceeds from God
Nothing evil proceeds from God. You’ve got to believe that God is good regardless of whatever is happening in this world or whatever evil someone has said about Him.

Nothing evil proceeds from God. You’ve got to believe that God is good regardless of whatever is happening in this world or whatever evil someone has said about Him.
Blessed are those who hear the Word and obey it, said Jesus. That means Jesus doesn’t want people to just listen to Him but also to do what His Word says. And if you’re going to live like that, you must study the Word and walk in its consciousness.
Go ahead and encourage another fellow with the gospel. You may not know how many days someone’s life can be sustained by you sharing the gospel with him. I think many people who have committed suicide wouldn’t have done that if a preacher was by them.
The Bible says, as God’s child, you are a child of the light and also of the day. You may ask, what does this mean? Well, it means that you are not under the bondage of darkness because Jesus has set you free, and God, the Father of lights (see James 1:17), dwells in you (see 1 John 4:8).
When the Bible says you are no longer foreigners and strangers but a fellow citizen with God’s people and members of His household, guess what it means? It implies that you belong to God and the family of believers. If it is to be an organisational setting, it’s like you becoming a part of the internal team instead of watching what the organisation does from afar.
The Holy Spirit carries what you need to live above sin. So when you are born again, and He comes to live in you, you will receive divine enablement to live unto God. Don’t try to live in God’s way without Him.
We had sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (see Romans 3:23). But God didn’t leave us in that state. No! His love for us transcended beyond our offence against Him. So, what did He do? He made Jesus come to die and take away the sin of the world (see John 1:29, Romans 3:24). Today, because of the redeeming power of Christ’s blood, you are set free from sin as God’s child.
Don’t destroy yourselves as brethren, especially in the same church. The devil capitalises on these things to make people shun fellowship, and once fellowship is missing, he starts leading them to do rebellious things. Learn to forgive people very quickly and move on in your faith journey.
Your usage of your freedom in Christ will constantly be tested, and you must be determined to let God win the battle at every time. You’ll often receive offers, even huge ones, to engage in evil without anyone watching you. But remember, God is with you. So, just as you are called to be free, update your mind to do what the Word says so that God will always be proud of you.
According to Galatians 3:29, the Bible says if you belong to Christ, then you’re Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. That implies that once you have Christ, you qualify to partake in all the Abrahamic blessings of the covenant. So, you are a child of the promise.
Make sure your ministry doesn’t get discredited based on what you do in secret and public. Don’t practice evil things secretly, and think God isn’t watching you. Again, keep labouring effectively to ensure that God’s work prospers in your hands. Serving the Lord is not always easy, but it is worth it.
According to 1 Corinthians 13:8, it is only the love of God that never fails. The rest of the top pillars people think they won’t fail, such as prophecies, tongues-speaking, and knowledge, can’t be totally dependent on. For prophecies, they will cease. For tongues speaking, the Bible says a time will come when it’ll be stilled (or quietened). Then, for knowledge (general intelligence), it shall also pass away. Just think about this.
