Calling a believer a Christian isn’t wrong. However, the Antiochenes, who called believers this name, saw them live in the ways of God. It takes salvation to become a believer, but maturity to live like Jesus. Pursue a deeper intimacy with God, walk in love and never allow what people call you to override who God says you are in your mind.

An heir, according to the scriptures in Galatians 4:7, refers to a person who has acquired or obtained the portion allotted to him. So, in essence, if you’re an heir of God through Christ, then it means you have access to everything the Father has through Jesus.

Don’t underwork yourself. In other words, don’t settle for less just because what’s in your hands to do right now is little. Invest in yourself. You can’t overpay the debt of love to the brethren. When Jesus said that we should love one another as His disciples, He didn’t put an expiry date to that command; neither did He add exceptions to it.

In the face of life’s circumstances, what do you do? Do you wail and worry like how many people are used to doing, or do you plead your case before God in prayer? The latter should be your hallmark as a believer.
