Lead Your Generation by Example

Leaders usually do in secret what people see in public. So when others desire to follow them, they are oblivious to the fact that their excellence in what they do is a product of the consistent practice of what they do behind the scenes. If you want to lead your generation by example, teach them to do what you do instead of making them admire you.

There Will Be No Future for the Wicked

Every person who’s plunged deep in sin doesn’t have any guarantee of a bright future if he continues in sin. That is why repentance and salvation is so significant. Why? Because the two don’t only guarantee you heaven but also bring you closer to God, receive His direction and start walking in His ways.

Pray Until You Get Direction

Just as a lighthouse guides ships safely through stormy seas, God’s Word illuminates our path and orders our steps with divine clarity (see Psalm 119:105). You must pray until you get direction from God whenever you get stuck.

Wait Patiently for the Lord

God knows the end from the beginning. If He tells you to rest and to wait patiently for Him, He is trying to save you from encountering trouble you could have avoided. Never think you’re wiser than God. Stay humble and live being guided by His direction.

The Meek Will Inherit the Land

If you’re meek, there is an assurance in the Word that you shall inherit the land. It doesn’t mean you will become a real estate entrepreneur. Instead, it means your name will refuse to die because God will cause your works to outlive your existence.

Do Not Be Overawed When Others Grow Rich

In Psalm 49:16, the Psalmist cautions that you should not be overawed when others grow rich. In other words, don’t let it become jawbreaking news when you see someone you know become wealthy. But why? Because of you don’t know how he got that wealth, whether legitimately or illegitimately and that person won’t carry over that wealth to the grave.
