God’s Word Reveals Who You Really Are

It’s important to note that the gospel of Christ (the Word of God) reveals you from faith to faith (Romans 1:17). So it’s step by step, not just a one-time thing. Constantly expose yourself to God’s Word because it reveals who you really are in Christ as God’s righteousness.

Prosper in All Things

There’s no doubt that any child of God who’s consistent with ministry experiences spiritual growth. But that’s not the finality. In fact, that should be the starting point and source from which other forms of prosperity, such as financial prosperity and improvement in healthy relationships, spring. Why? Because getting access to God’s Word increases your divine wisdom to handle other aspects of your life well.

Put Fire on Your Altar

Your personal intimacy with the Lord won’t grow by automation. You have a part to play. Put fire on your altar. Learn how to pray when nobody is around you. Learn how to study the Bible yourself. God never saved you to make you too dependent on the works of His servants. Connect to Him individually and daily.

Experience Spiritual Growth Through Trials

Be Spiritually Illuminated

Don’t live in ignorance. Be hungry to know God more. Study the Bible yourself. Read right Christ-centred books yourself. Pray the Word yourself. Don’t be lazy and too dependent on other people to feed you spiritually. Invest in your personal spiritual growth.

Receive the Implanted Word of God

Lay aside all filthy thoughts the enemy sows in your mind when you have a grudge with someone, even in the same church or facing an issue in life. Forget about those things. Receive the implanted Word of God — that indirect teaching God is giving you as He helps you go through each life challenge. You’ll always come out better with renewed mindsets and experiential knowledge of the Lord.

Don’t Love Pleasure

Solomon was the wealthiest king in the Bible. And upon all his riches, he tells us that we shouldn’t love pleasure, wine and oil, else we’ll not be rich. If a rich person like Solomon is telling us this, then he’s probably showing us one of the secrets he used to manage his wealth so well, even till the point of death.
