James 1:5 says God is a liberal giver of wisdom. On top of that, He also gives to people without reproach. That means He doesn’t reluctantly provide wisdom to those who ask Him. Isn’t it awesome that your God will provide you with divine wisdom without thinking about whether you are qualified to receive it or not?
When Jesus was around physically, He didn’t fast like how John the Baptist. Those who followers His ministry also ate a lot. But He said that when He’s gone, they’ll fast. So today, fasting is a necessity to the child of God. Why? Because it’ll help you commune with Jesus.
As children of God, the importance of favour in our lives cannot be overemphasised. It is basically our spiritual legal tender for trade, our certificate in anything we do, our visa to anywhere on this Earth and our key to unlocking any kind of door we want in life, all for the glory of our Father. Here are three ways of stirring up God’s favour in our lives.
Just put your trust in God always. In a relationship, build your bond with Jesus. In your field of education, build your career on Jesus. Let Him be the firm foundation of your life – not your certificate, degree, connections or people’s promises. He alone has the entire plan for your life. And He’s too good to lead you astray. Hope in Him.
What is your problem? Bring it to Jesus. Have raw faith that’s not dependent on anything or any human. He will fulfil everything concerning your life.

Pastors, like humans, also need help. Sometimes you can’t provide all the help your pastor needs. But for sure, your prayer for him goes a long way to impact his life and divine calling.
Instead of Mary receiving the news and thinking about the “how” later, she probed further to understand God’s instruction by saying, “How will this be?…”. You have to do the same thing to get clarity about God’s promises.
If Caesar had not issued that decree, Joseph wouldn’t have gone back to Bethlehem. And that would mean Jesus would have been born somewhere else. So I believe God made Caesar Augustus issue that decree, not himself. Things don’t just happen.
You can entrust the fullness of whatsoever is in your heart unto the Lord. Because it’s only Him who has assured you that He’ll never leave nor forsake you And because of that assurance, He is faithful always to you.
