Do You Love Jesus?
Loving God isn’t about doing things in His name. It’s about doing His Word. Jesus said that anyone who loves Him would obey His teaching (John 14:23). So once you hear the teachings of Christ and you obey them, it’s a love language you’re communicating to Jesus.
Unless the Lord Builds the House
God cannot be mocked. If He came down to stop the tower of Babel project, how much more that evil plan your enemies have formed to execute against you? They’ll be in vain because they aren’t of the Lord.
Do the Work of an Evangelist
Timothy was a pastor and not an evangelist. Nevertheless, Paul told him to do the work of an evangelist. Why? Because he knew that without evangelism, people would not encounter Jesus and be saved. What about you?
Fight the Good Fight of Faith
Fulfiling your divine mandate takes a lot of work. And for that reason, life is not a joke. God didn’t bring you to this Earth to be comfortable but to work purposefully. Maybe you don’t know your purpose, or you’re in a dilemma right now. I’ll urge you to seek God about it. And He’ll show you which way to take.
Do Everything in Love
Refine your motives for praying, work, education, ministry, business, and everything else you do in your life. Check the primary thing that inspires you for what you’re doing. Is it simply to get money for yourself or to get money to support yourself, your family and the ministry? God weighs our motives (Proverbs 16:2 NIV) for whatever we’re doing, and He’ll judge them too. You can deceive man by hiding your intentions, but not God.
Are You Disqualifying Yourself from Embracing God’s Call?
Are you disqualifying yourself from embracing God’s call upon your life? Do you see the bad situations in your life today as a hindrance to God’s glorious future for you? It’s time to put excuses aside.
Your Work Will Be Revealed by Fire
Your work will be revealed by fire on the second coming of Christ. Whether you build it on the foundation of Christ or with gold, silver, hay, wood or straw, God’s fire will reveal it. So if you do God’s work shabbily, men will not see it, but God will see it. There’s nothing hidden before God. Even the motives of your heart are plain before Him.
Without Jesus, You Can Do Nothing
We all know that there are some people in this world doing marvellous things, and yet they aren’t born again. So does it mean Jesus is lying? No. What Jesus meant when he said, “Without him, we can do nothing,” is that when God weighs people’s works, those that are relevant before Him are those Jesus is involved in. This is why effective kingdom productivity heavily depends on your intimate fellowship with Jesus, and ministers can attest to this truth.
