Proverbs 26:13 means that if you meet an obstacle in your race of faith and refuse to face it, you’re a sluggard or lazy. That means before God, taking risks out of faith is part and parcel of the life you received in Christ.
Are you really a disciple of Jesus? Or are you one of those students who sign up for courses yet fail to attend classes and follow after the course consistently?

Never be so stringent on protecting your life that you’ll not allow God to flexibly instruct you to do things that are according to His ways.
If God says David’s generation, who are now believers in Christ, may possess the remnant of Edom, it means that unbelievers have taken authority over in every realm of life and will eventually be overtaken by believers.
Serving selflessly in Christ will always result in serving others who, under normal circumstances, should serve you. But he who serves others is great. Never think you’re subservient for serving God.
Dear Christian, your impact on the world won’t always be about preaching to people in church. It’ll mostly be evident in how you interact with the people you meet. Fill your mind with the Word of God, and you’ll be wise to interact with people well while leaving a godly impact on them.
Bear the persecution because the price of your salvation is worth Jesus’ own blood. Once again, live the rest of your life to please God. He is with you and will never leave you.
