Speak Up for Those Who Cannot Speak for Themselves

[8] “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” – Proverbs 31:8 (NIV)

In this life, there are people struggling but cannot complain. Some are timid; they prefer living with situations for a long time without being bold enough to confront them. For such people, God’s Word says, speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. But how can you do that? It’s simple. Use your position of influence.

When Haman planned to wipe off all the Israelites in King Artaxerxes’ kingdom, Mordecai contacted Esther, the queen at that time, to use his position of influence to save his people. If Esther had refused to listen to Mordecai, Haman would have succeeded with his plan, and God’s people wouldn’t have existed to date.

In God’s kingdom, impact has a higher priority than money

Sometimes, it’s not about you when you get that position, job or place of residence; it’s about how you can help others. Many people want what you need, but they cannot afford it from worldly people. Why don’t you help them from a genuine heart and not focus on how much they’ll pay you for your service?

Remember that in God’s kingdom, impact has a higher priority than money. Never substitute those two.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, I receive grace to help others from a sincere heart whenever I get the opportunity. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
