Have No Fear of Sudden Disaster

Proverbs 3:25 says you should have no fear of sudden disaster or the ruin that overtakes the wicked. Why? Verse 26 gives us the reason. That is, God will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. Isn’t that great news? You ought to have absolute confidence in God for your life and not be limited by what fear always suggests.

Always Put Your Trust in the Lord

If you don’t want to end up disgraced in life, don’t put your trust in people or even technology. People will fail you. Even more, since machines are designed by people, all of them aren’t a hundred percent effective. Always put your trust in God, for He is the perfect One to hold every area of your life in the right shape.

Check Your Heart, Dear Treasurer

Can God trust you with millions, and you’ll handle it well? According to Luke 16:11, the true riches in God’s kingdom are entrusted, not worked for. Check your heart, dear treasurer, because if you don’t do it, you will indirectly allow the devil to lure you into stealing and think nothing bad will happen to you. May God protect you from greed.

Take Jesus’ Yoke Upon You

If life is long, then you need a helper because not all days will be filled with happiness. There are some days earmarked as evil. In those days, your strength will be tested (see Proverbs 24:10). Jesus is willing to help you in ways unimaginable. But He is gentle. He wants you to take His yoke upon you and learn from Him.

No Word from God Will Ever Fail

God’s timing is very different from that of man’s. So anytime He gives a promise, when He’ll do it is up to Him and not to us. Never allow men to pressure you to make decisions to tamper with God’s timing for fulfilling His prophecies. Your duty is to keep believing in Him and watchful in prayer.

Be Content with What You Have

Jesus Himself said in Mathew 6:31-32 that you should not worry about what to eat, drink or wear, for our Father in Heaven knows your needs. Many of us lose consciousness of our Father’s capability to provide, which shouldn’t be the case. Learn to depend on God for provision.
