[24] “Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?” – Luke 12:24 (NKJV)
It will surprise you to know that one of the most critical everyday needs of people is the provision of food. There are several people whose work just earns enough to feed them, not to mention building houses or even buying clothes. Is that not tragic? I speak like this because there is more to life than what you want to eat daily. Just think about that.
However, despite the many things God wants you to do and provide you with, He is very much interested in the littlest details of your life. Today, I want to tell you that God will feed you. Maybe you have what you need to eat daily, so today’s devotional may not look so important to you. But what about that student with limited provision or that street beggar who can’t afford three square meals daily? Everybody has needs, so don’t neglect to believe each promise from the Bible every day.
Your feeding is essential to God because He wants you to live unto Him and fulfil His divine mandate through your life. That is why you shouldn’t stop depending on God for daily provision. Dear friend, be intentional about asking God for anything you need to thrive every day. The Lord is with you.
You’re a blessing.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your provision in my life. As I have learned in Your Word that You value me, I know that I will never lack. Thank You for this assurance. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
